Main House (max. capacity 8): 4 X Bedrooms + 4 X Private Bathrooms. Separate Cottage max. capacity 4 includes 2 X bedrooms + 2 X Private Bathrooms. The nightly rate is adjusted upwards for groups larger than 8 persons. Regrettably the cottage cannot be rented separately.
Backup power system: Lights, Internet, Fridge & Freezer, and Security systems (see detail below). The property is cared for by a full-time housekeeper, who lives on the property in a detached residence. Cleaning, laundry are provided free of charge, and schedule is planned before arrival.
Tucked into the eaves upstairs is an enormous open-plan bedroom with picture-perfect ocean views from reading chairs, the deliciously comfortable bed, desk, balcony, bath, shower and yes, even the toilet.
Taonga means “treasure” in Maori, and that is exactly what this home-from-home is for its New Zealand owners, and the lucky guests who make it theirs.
